2026 Outstanding Project

Arrowstreet converted a 1965 former parochial college into the new Lincoln-Eliot School, a K–5 elementary school serving approximately 400 students and district-wide special needs programs. The project transforms the existing building with new 21st century learning spaces such as independent and small-group learning areas. A new addition provides the gym, media center, and welcoming entry. The large parking lot was eliminated to foster outdoor learning and play, improving the entire neighborhood. And the auditorium was revitalized to become a performance venue for the whole Newton community. The school is all-electric and operating at net-zero energy.
