The purpose of LEARNING BY DESIGN magazine is to bring to K-12, higher-education facilities, architects, and interior design product specifier decision-makers an armchair tour of some of the most innovative and effective education projects that have been recently undertaken across the United States. Think of LEARNING BY DESIGN as a school and university leaders’ guide to the education, architectural & design field.
LEARNING BY DESIGN is produced 3 times a year, in the Spring (April), the Summer (June), and the Fall (October ). Each edition highlights a just-completed North American education architectural awards program. Throughout its pages, readers find a multitude of projects and articles of importance that provide insight and examples of: facility evaluation tools; possibly uncommon yet progressive new spaces; thoughtful adaptive reuse and or renovation of existing facilities; and great new next-generation buildings at a variety of price ranges.
