New Construction

Multi-Use / Joint-Use Building/Space

2025 Outstanding Project

The new Bain Athletic Complex on the campus of West Texas A&M University is the new home of the University’s Hall of Champions celebrating the success of the athletic program. Sited adjacent to the existing workout facility and football stadium, the building is programmed to meet the needs of multiple sports.

A new office suite for football and track programs with individual coach’s offices and private shower rooms is near the new conference suite with a variety of different-sized conference rooms for individual team meetings. The new facility also houses new locker rooms for men’s and women’s track and a student-athlete lounge complete with a nutrition bar and video gaming stations.

Adjacent to the Hall of Champions is a tiered and divisible team meeting and film room with custom theater seating and programmable AV equipment to view all together or in 3 separate spaces. A partially covered outdoor patio ties the new building into the existing complex.

The outdoor patio features landscaping, built-in seating, shade structures, and AV components for outdoor events. The facility opened in the summer of 2024 and is already an asset to recruiting and serving the University’s student-athletes.
