The IMPACT Center for Leadership and Innovation is a first-of-its-kind learning environment designed to prepare students in grades 7 through 12 for leadership, collaboration, and real-world readiness. Intentionally designed to be more than a traditional career and technical facility, the IMPACT Center features a flexible, forward-thinking environment where students build technical skills while developing the leadership habits, confidence, and adaptability needed for future success.
The design was shaped by close collaboration with district administrators, local industry leaders, and FranklinCovey Leader in Me program representatives. Industry partners helped identify the need for future employees who are not only technically prepared, but also capable of leading, problem-solving, and working collaboratively. Those goals became central to the planning of the facility.
The center brings together career pathways, core academics, design thinking, and leadership development in a setting that encourages interdisciplinary learning. The six career pathways are supported by dedicated classrooms, hands-on labs, and two high-bay spaces designed for more industrial and technical programs. Education houses provide media hubs, classrooms, and flexible labs that support evolving student needs.
Sustainability was also integral to the project, carrying forward proven Net Zero Energy design strategies to reduce energy use, improve performance, and create healthy learning environments.
